Your whole running history, on one page
Miss the proper Power of 10? Follow a few simple steps to revive its former glory.
Drag this button to your bookmarks bar
Drag it, don't click it. Press Ctrl Shift B if you can't see your bookmarks bar.
On a phone instead?
You can't drag on a phone, so the bookmark is made by hand. Copy this first:
Use the same browser you will view your profile in. A bookmark made in one browser will not work in another.
iPhone or iPad, Safari
- Press Copy above.
- Tap the share icon at the bottom of the screen, the square with an arrow coming out of it. Choose Add Bookmark, then Save. You are bookmarking this page for now. You replace its address in a moment.
- Tap the book icon at the bottom, then the Bookmarks tab, the open book, to see your bookmarks list.
- Tap Edit, bottom right.
- Tap the bookmark you just made. Two boxes open: the name, and the address underneath it.
- Change the name to Po10 capture.
- Tap the address box, hold your finger on it, choose Select All, then Paste. It should now start with javascript:
- Tap Done, then Done again.
To run it: open your Power of 10 profile, tap the book icon, and tap Po10 capture. Do not type the name in the address bar on iPhone, that searches for it instead of running it.
Android, Chrome
- Press Copy above.
- Tap the three dots, top right, then the star to bookmark this page.
- Tap Edit on the bar that appears along the bottom. If it has already gone, tap the three dots, Bookmarks, find this page, tap the three dots beside it, then Edit.
- Change the name to Po10 capture.
- Clear the URL box and paste.
- Check it still starts with javascript: Chrome sometimes drops those first eleven characters as you paste. If it has, type them back on the front, colon included.
- Go back. It saves as you go.
To run it: open your Power of 10 profile, type Po10 capture in the address bar, and tap the bookmark in the list that drops down. Tapping it on the bookmarks page will not work. Chrome only runs these from the address bar.
Either phone: keep the tab in front while it works, since switching away pauses it. If it stops early, tap the bookmark again and press Resume.
Open your Power of 10 profile, then click the bookmark
Press Build my profile. It reads every season you have ever raced, so give it a couple of minutes, longer if Power of 10 is being slow, and leave the tab in front.
If a season will not load it moves on and comes back to it, so one awkward year no longer costs you the rest. Anything still missing at the end is named, and pressing the button again asks only for those.
Then it opens your profile for you. No file to find, nothing to drag.
Raced since? Click the bookmark and press This year. It reads the current season, leaves the rest as they were, and opens your profile, so it takes seconds rather than two minutes. Build my profile always does the lot, whenever you want everything read fresh.
It only reads what your own profile has already shown you.
Nothing is uploaded. Your results are handed straight from one tab to the next
and never touch a server.
